Q

Shipping FAQ

  • Most orders are shipped by common carrier or freight. Carnival Cabinets will generally determine the best shipping based on available shipping rates to your zip code. In all cases, you will be charged freight in advance when you pay for your order.
  • Local delivery is available during check out; rates are based on a 50-mile radius of our warehouse. A driver will contact you when your order is processed and packaged.
  • Warehouse pick up is available free of charge. Pick up date(s) will be available after the order is processed.
  • Carnival Cabinets warranty pertaining to shipping damage is limited solely to the value of the original materials purchased from Carnival Cabinets and is further limited to the purchase price paid for the materials. Carnival Cabinets will not be responsible for extraneous materials, labor, travel costs, lodging costs, installation expenses or other related expenditures arising from damage or freight carrier related shipping delays.
  • Carnival Cabinets freight orders are primarily delivered on pallets, a loading dock and pallet jack/forklift are recommended for easier unloading. If you do not have access to a loading dock or forklift, we can have orders delivered directly to your home. See the important information below pertaining to residential deliveries:
  • Residential deliveries are generally curbside only and the freight driver may only be willing to get the items to the back of the truck. Larger orders may require a lift gate and can be requested in the “Order Notes” section during check out. Some hand unloading may still be required. It is recommended to have two people lift one box at a time due to the size and weight.
  • Be aware that ‘curbside only’ means that the shipper will get the load as close to the location as the delivery conditions and truck limitations allow. This may mean that the load may be dropped 500 feet from the house. This is not the responsibility of the shipper or Carnival Cabinets. Therefore, be sure to work out delivery logistics with the shipper when they contact you to arrange delivery.
  • Any additional services you agree to with the shipper or driver (lift gate for small loads, extra handling) are the responsibility of the customer.
  • We supply your contact information to the freight company and instruct them to contact you to arrange for delivery. If the freight company attempts delivery based on your arrangements but is unsuccessful a re-delivery charge may be assessed to you. The fees associated with this are not the responsibility of Carnival Cabinets and the delivery cannot be made until the fees are paid.

Expedited Shipping

  • Expedite shipping is designed to aid customers in emergency situations where product is needed to complete a job. Expedited shipping is based on available capacity and established expedited ceilings.
  • There is a six-piece minimum order on all expedite orders.
  • All expedite orders go into production the day after the order is received, assuming that no order placement problems are encountered.
  • All expedite upcharges are calculated on a “percentage of the order” basis.
  • Every item on an expedited purchase order will be subject to the upcharge. To expedite select items only, separate those items into a different order.
  • Expedite charges are based on the net amount of all products ordered before shipping, special handling, and any taxes are applied.

Lead Times

  • Lead times are based on normal business days. Weekends, holidays, and non-working days due to inclement weather are excluded. Lead times do not include shipping time.
  • Lead time information is only a guideline. Lead times are not guaranteed and can vary according to demand, material availability, and additional factors.
  • During the order entry process, each order is committed to a production schedule. Typical lead time is 12-15 business days from order entry.
